Brown Truck Brewery is a nationally recognized, award-winning independent craft brewery based in High Point, North Carolina that specializes in crisp lagers, sessionable ales, and rustic farmhouse styles. Brown Truck’s handcrafted brews are approachable to everyone from craft beer aficionados to casual drinkers.


Position Summary:

Brown Truck Brewery’s Social Media / Marketing Intern will be working alongside our bartending staff and reporting to our General Manager, geeking out over our online content, social media followers, graphic designs, and killer brews. This position will support and contribute to our print and digital media outreach. They will be responsible for a variety of projects including social media posting, monitoring our social media channels, creative support such as Instagram/FB stories and event and Taproom pictures, graphic designs, and production assistance during photoshoots. They should be comfortable with basic cameras as well as iPhone photography. They will also be featured on our social media from time to time, so they should be comfortable with being on camera. They will help retain and grow our social media presence, ensuring consumers receive consistent positive messaging across all social media channels. The ideal candidate is interested in graphic design and social media who loves creative projects, engaging with our followers, and craft beer.


The Social Media / Marketing Intern will develop skills in brand management support across social media platforms including but not limited to (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Youtube, Untappd), our website and E-Marketing platform (Wix), and basic design software (Canva, Pixlr, etc).


Essential Functions:

  • Graphic design (print and digital)

  • Monitor social media channels

  • Engage with our followers and helps grow our online presence

  • Keep track of social media analytics and create reports

  • Photographer for marketing productions

  • Driving force for content creation and updating print and digital assets (our websites, posters around the Taproom, etc.)

  • Be comfortable with being on camera and a “face” for Brown Truck Brewery

  • Attend off-site events as needed (responsibilities include set-up and engaging with consumers)

  • Maintain a professional image and demeanor at all times. Be charismatic and positive with consumer engagement.



  • 8 hours a week total, with the expectation of at least 4 hours on-location

  • Temporary summer internship with the possibility of further development

  • Asynchronous/flexible schedule

  • Some nights and weekends required for special events

  • In-office and in-market events


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in graphic design and social media

  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Suite, and/or other comparable software

  • Available remotely or in-person during nights and weekends

  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized

  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

  • 21+

  • Must be able to represent our brand well, whether that’s on our social media or in person

  • Knowledge of Brown Truck’s products and brand identity

  • Interest or knowledge in the craft beer industry
